From Tommy Staples:   I don't like teams using the booster club for team camps. Field Hockey usually does a fantastic job fundraising.  With the new VHSL calendar, it shows that time is during a dead period so I will have to see if they can attend and if we can use our funds for it.

Explain how this request will help Maury High School students.: The paint and nets will help when we practice. The field paint will give the girls a good understanding of field play and the old nets have holes and are torn. The goalie equipment will keep our goalie safe and the equipment Mets the standards set by the USA lacrosse body.

What is the balance in your department's or organization's treasury? Explain why these funds cannot be used for this request. What does your organization do for fundraising? : We have a balance of $2100. These funds are for new practice jerseys which will cost 400-500 dollars and we need to pay the coach $2000. We have two fundraising plans, one is to sell mulch and another is a raffle to sell a gift basket donated by Nauticus. We also collect dues from parents

How many students will this request benefit directly and indirectly?: Our goalie will benefit from the equipment to keep her safe from injuries and he whole team benefits from having our field makes to the official field dimensions. New nets are need so often from wear and elements

List other ways that you plan to raise funds for this request (fundraisers, etc.): First, my goal is to raise ten thousand dollars so we don't need to always ask for help from the Maury boosters, we collect fees from the parents and will have a fund raiser at the end of April.

Do you need these items by a certain date? Please tell us about any timelines or deadlines for this project.: Would like them as soon as possible. Started practice already ran out of paint and our first game is March 20th so I would like to have goalie equipment before that

Department or Organization: Maury Field Hockey

I am requesting funding for...: Field Hockey Summer Camp. I am requesting $2,000 to help with the cost of field hockey camp for each player. The cost of camp is $395 per person.

Explain how this request will help Maury High School students.: This would help the Women's field hockey team with enriching their knowledge on field hockey while increasing their skill and Field Hockey IQ. This will also give the girls bonding time

What is the balance in your department's or organization's treasury? Explain why these funds cannot be used for this request. What does your organization do for fundraising? : 764.27. These funds cannot fully pay for the amount of girls to go to camp. We are organizing a car wash and we plan on putting together a snapraise

How many students will this request benefit directly and indirectly?: Hopefully this will help 25 girls on the Field Hockey team.

List other ways that you plan to raise funds for this request (fundraisers, etc.): Carwash, snap raise, chipotle/ nothing bundt cakes fundraiser
